Multiplicity

This project was fun and added a little challenge because I did this in a time crunch, only giving myself an hour to take the photos. I wanted to re-create what taking a test feels like, with the cheating students, the good students, and the teacher. The hardest part was making sure that all versions of myself weren't overlapping one another, that part took me a very long time.

Somewhere

This is one of my favorites that I’ve done in the class, this still is a shot from my favorite movie “Scott Pilgrim vs The World”. While making this I took two different shots, one more complex and one more simple. Unfortunately, the complex didn’t end up working out, so this was the one used instead. For this frame, I actually took out Michael Cera, who was standing in the position I’m in, and recreated the background to make it seem like he was never there in the first place. Then I did some lighting effects and placed myself in there, added some shadow to the wall, and did some scaling. Now it looks almost like I’m a part of the movie!

BW to Color

The Black and White to Color project was a bit harder for me, as doing this sort of work in photoshop was a newer concept to me. These turned out okay, but I wish I spent a little more time working on the outlines. Also the color pallets aren’t my favorite thing to look at.

Poster

For the Poster, I chose to use another photo from the clown photoshoot, this time from a low angle. I wanted to use this clown image because I was at a time while making this that I felt like a joke to the people around me, so using the clown felt very fitting. In theory, this piece didn’t take very long to create, but there were about 7 other colors I chose before sticking to this one. I like the result, although the text cool be a little clearer to make reading easier.

Calligram

For the Calligram piece, I chose a picture of myself from when I and a friend did a clown photoshoot. For the words, I chose the last lyrics I heard while working on the project itself. I like this piece, but I feel as though some work can be done on it, like the empty space or readability of words. This project also took a long time to do, scrapping the entirety of it and starting over at one point, but I am happy with the result.

Business cards and 3D

This second prototype design, now by the name Cinebear Productions, is miles better than the first. The more minimalistic approach and integration of the words make this design easier on the eyes. For the business cards themselves, I like the black and white one just a tinge more than the black and pink, I feel as though the right one is easier to read, although the left one has a bit more personality. The cards were simple to design, more thought went into the orientation of the design and words on the cards. The QR code leads to my Youtube channel, where I show off my editing skills.

Ai Logos

These were created using midjourney, they look a bit off, but they helped me get the idea for my own logo.
