Somewhere

This is one of my favorites that I’ve done in the class, this still is a shot from my favorite movie “Scott Pilgrim vs The World”. While making this I took two different shots, one more complex and one more simple. Unfortunately, the complex didn’t end up working out, so this was the one used instead. For this frame, I actually took out Michael Cera, who was standing in the position I’m in, and recreated the background to make it seem like he was never there in the first place. Then I did some lighting effects and placed myself in there, added some shadow to the wall, and did some scaling. Now it looks almost like I’m a part of the movie!

BW to Color

The Black and White to Color project was a bit harder for me, as doing this sort of work in photoshop was a newer concept to me. These turned out okay, but I wish I spent a little more time working on the outlines. Also the color pallets aren’t my favorite thing to look at.

Poster

For the Poster, I chose to use another photo from the clown photoshoot, this time from a low angle. I wanted to use this clown image because I was at a time while making this that I felt like a joke to the people around me, so using the clown felt very fitting. In theory, this piece didn’t take very long to create, but there were about 7 other colors I chose before sticking to this one. I like the result, although the text cool be a little clearer to make reading easier.
